My favourite class in Dungeons and Dragons
My favourite class in Dungeons and Dragons is the Barbarian, because the barbarian is very strong, even at level 1. Here is why, when they start, they have two features, unarmored Defense, and rage. Unarmored Defense is a feature where even with no armour, you are protected. Rage boosts your attacks up, it is like a power up. You have advantage on saving throws and checks, your attack power is higher and you are resistant to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage.
At the second level, you can sense danger and you have advantage on melee attacks, it is very strong as well. On the third level, you can choose a primal path, I would choose Totem Warrior, because you can multiclass with a fighter which deals a lot of damage. But I will go through all of them.
So in the path of the berserker, you can go frenzy if you do this, your one melee attack would be a bonus action you would suffer 1 level of exhaustion after raging. At mindless rage, you cannot be charmed or frightened while raging. with intimidating presence, it is just scaring someone. Retaliation is when you take damage from a creature 5ft away from you, you can use reaction to make a melee weapon attack.
The path of the totem warrior gives more defence than damage. At the third level, the bear totem spirit gives you resistance to all types of damage except for psychic. With the eagle spirit, enemies have disadvantage on attacking you, a dash action can be used as a bonus action. Wolf is also helpful, it would give advantage on attack rolls to your friends. At the 6th level, you can choose spirits again, I would recommend wolf, because you are like a hunter, if you choose it. the bear just makes you a luggage carrier, and eagle makes you hawk eye. Spirit walker allows you to cast spells and totemic ammunement all of them are good, bear gives disadvantage to all opponents in a 5ft range. Eagle allows you to move faster. wolf is also OP you can knock someone prone.
Fast movement and extra attack are perfect, you can move very fast, you have unarmored defense to protect you and you can attack twice. Feral instinct gives you advantage on initiative rolls. If you are not incapacitated, and you are surprised, you don't skip your first turn. Brutal critical is just too strong, you can roll another weapon dice. When you are raging and you drop to 0 HP, you don't die, make a constitution saving throw of 10, if you succeed you drop by 1 HP. Persistent rage makes your rage so overpowered it ends only when you are unconscious or if you choose to end it. Primal champion and Indomitable might is just like ability score improvement but better.
I do recommend barbarian and fighter, they are a strong combo with the fighter's action surge, improved critical and second wind both have extra attack. So fighter level 3 and barbarian level 5 is a strong combo.
